Vehicles donated by the community are used as instructed and/or repaired by students and auctioned online at
http://www.publicsurplus.com/. Proceeds from the sale of these vehicles are used to purchase the latest equipment and tools for the automotive program, as well as to travel to the field of funding and to purchase events. We are at 816 South Walter Reed Drive, Arlington V. The most automotive program located at 22204 is at the back of the building, so you want to come to 9th Street and pull to the back with the gate open. We are at entrance # 8.
Here's how it works
- You drive us or tie us up
- We take something, moving or not (if we have parking space)
- Bring your title and we'll show you where to sign off (all owners in the title must sign)
- We remove your tag for you
- We take care of all the paperwork including IRS Tax Form 1098C
- You can search for the quality of your car at KBB.com, or Edmunds.com and print the quality of your car
- Don't wait for the tax on your donation to be sold until your donation is released.
